The 10 Day Adventure to the Edge of the World: Part I

I know the updates are not overflowing as they should be. But I have finally done something (other than sit in class) that is finally worthy of posting about. I just returned from a 10 day adventure to the edge of the world - Patagonia. No folks, its not only a clothing brand that 0% of Los Angeleans “need“ by any means, its a place. The most beautiful place in the modern world...

Punta Arenas
Ill start small. So this is a picture of a national park that we visited within the first couple days of our trip. This is a picture taken during our drive to the actual park. We went specifically to go see penguins. Which I will show you soon enough. Honestly, pictures do not capture the true majesty that is Patagonia.

Side note - to even get to this area, we had to take a plane, a gazillion buses, ferries, etc. Half our trip consisted of transferring from one form of transportation to the other. But all worth it.

So if you squint enough, you can see the penguins just chillin. We were obviously unable to get too close to them. There were small stations where we could peak through without disrespecting their natural living space. It was pretty awesome. The park is actually a pampa. Meaning that most of it is flat plains. So we were able to see as far as our eyes could possibly see. It was an amazing experience. I had so many instances where I just stood there not being able to fathom that me being there was a reality. Totally and utterly surreal.

So the next couple of pictures are just pictures of my walk throughout the park. You will be able to see a man-made pathway throughout the whole park in which we were able to walk and observe the natural habitat. The place looked totally untouched and amazingly preserved. Enjoy.

I would add more pictures. But this literally takes 5 years to do. And I do not have the patience. So...

I shall end this first part with 2 thumbs up (best picture of the bunch, obviously)...
